Building my personal website was both a creative and educational experience. Before starting this project, I understood that websites were made up of pages, images, links, and written content, but I had not fully considered how all these elements work together to create a complete user experience.

One of the first challenges was learning how to use the WordPress editor. At the beginning, it was not always clear whether I was editing the website template, the homepage, or an individual post. As I continued working, I learned that templates control the general design and structure of the website, while posts contain the specific information that visitors read.

I also learned the importance of organizing content properly. A website should not only look attractive; it should also be easy to understand and navigate. Titles, paragraphs, images, menus, and buttons need to be placed carefully so visitors can quickly find the information they need. Adding descriptive text to images also helped me understand how written content can provide context and make a website more informative.

Another important part of the process was selecting an appropriate design. Colors, fonts, spacing, and image sizes can significantly affect how professional a website appears. I tried to maintain a clean and consistent layout so the content would remain the main focus. This experience showed me that even small visual changes can improve the appearance and readability of a page.

The project also required patience and problem-solving. Some features were not located where I initially expected them to be, and I occasionally needed to explore different menus before finding the correct option. These difficulties helped me become more comfortable with WordPress and taught me that experimentation is an important part of learning new technology.

Overall, building my personal website gave me a better understanding of web design, content management, and digital communication. I learned how to create and edit posts, organize information, work with images, and customize the appearance of a website. I am satisfied with the progress I made, and I now feel more confident using WordPress to present information online.

In the future, I would like to continue improving the website by adding more original content, refining its visual design, improving the navigation, and making sure it works well on both computers and mobile devices.
